Dan Presents: Imaginative stereo recording techniques. Including his own Transformational Drum Overheads and Bi-nerfal recording techniques at Boston Area Definitive Audio Student Summit. He will demonstrate the Notable Bi-Nerfal Mic Technique and demonstrate alternate methods for using Blumlein and Mid-side techniques to over come small recording spaces. We will also collaborate with our engineer buddy Sean McLaughlin who will bring his beautiful Zener compressor. Many engineers and audio companies will be on hand!

Music That Matters summer camp records at Notable
Three teen bands, part of Plugged In's Music That Matters summer camp, recorded their original songs at Notable. Their songs ("Injustice," "Sun Will Rise Again," and "What I Believe In") all address social issues faced by teens, such as depression, suicide, injustice, and more. The goal of Music That Matters camp was for teens to use music to engage in and address social issues facing individuals and communities around the world. According to the students, their recording session at Notable was a "highlight" of the camp!

Dan Cantor is hard at work with Dj Nio from the Italian rap group Zero Plastica, mastering their 2011 historical release. The album intitled "Basta!" throws the Italian political situation and its hedonistic prime minister Silvio Berlusconi into the hot tub.
